RoomieVide offers a free tier with core features (expense tracking, contributions, chat) and a
premium tier ($4.99/mo or $39.99/yr) that unlocks advanced features like calendar, tasks, grocery
lists, and enhanced reports. Only one person per household needs to subscribe for the entire
household to get premium access. New households get a 35-day free trial of premium features.
Go to your Team Settings (click your profile picture, then "Team Settings"). Under "Team Members,"
you can invite new members by entering their email address. They'll receive an email invitation to
join your household.
Each household member has a split rule that defines their percentage share of expenses. When a new
expense is added, it's automatically split according to these rules. You can set up different rules
for different members and adjust them anytime from the Splits page.
Running billing calculates each roommate's total owed for unbilled expenses and contributions,
updates their running balance, and locks in a snapshot of that billing period. It can be run monthly
(or on your own schedule) from the Dashboard. If you make a mistake, you can undo the most recent
billing run.
Go to the Contributions page and click "Add Contribution." Enter the amount paid, who paid, and an
optional description. Contributions are applied against the member's outstanding balance. Depending
on your household's settings, contributions may be auto-confirmed or require confirmation from
another member.
Yes! Both the "My Reports" and "Household Reports" pages have an "Export CSV" button that downloads
your expense and payment data as a spreadsheet file. You can filter by date range before exporting

Go to the Subscription page and click "Cancel Subscription." Your premium access will remain active
until the end of the current billing period. You can undo the cancellation at any time before it
takes effect. After cancellation, you'll still have full access to the free tier features.
